Billie Eilish secures 5-year restraining order against intruder who invaded her childhood home
A court has granted Billie Eilish and her family protection from the individual who allegedly broke into her childhood home.
The singer appeared in court virtually on Thursday, Feb. 9, for a hearing.
During the hearing, a judge approved a 5-year restraining order against 39-year-old Christopher Anderson for Billie.
Billie’s parents, Patrick and Maggie, as well as her brother Finneas, are also covered by the order.
Billie had obtained a temporary restraining order against Anderson in January 2023 after her father reported that Anderson had broken into the family home, professing his love for Billie despite never having met her.
Billie expressed feeling unsafe visiting her family, especially after law enforcement had been called to the home 5 times in December due to Anderson’s unwanted visits.
The permanent restraining order mandates that Anderson must stay 100 yards away from Billie, her family, and her parents’ house. Additionally, he is prohibited from contacting her on social media or approaching her vehicle or workplace. Violation of these terms can result in immediate arrest by the police.
